When moss is just cosmetic, and when it starts to cause problems.
Is moss a problem?
A little moss is common, but heavy growth holds moisture, can lift tiles and block gutters and valleys.
What to do
Avoid pressure washing, which can damage tiles. A careful clean and check of the roof is usually the right approach.
