Slipped tiles and storm damage
What a slipped tile or slate means, and why it is worth dealing with quickly.
Why tiles slip
Nails corrode, battens weaken and strong winds lift tiles. Once one moves, rain can get underneath and others can follow.
After a storm
Check from the ground for gaps, debris in the garden or gutters, and any new damp patches indoors. Take photos and get in touch – we can usually tell a lot from them.
